Data Management

Distribution and Printing

Thomson Reuters uses a dedicated production facility with custom equipment designed specifically for assembling 1099 forms and statements.

Federal and State Reporting

We generate and submit annual original and/or corrected federal filings and CFS state filings electronically via the IRS FIRE system. We provide direct state filings (including electronic or paper submissions as appropriate), Puerto Rico filings, and quarterly and other periodic filings as required by individual states for withholding reporting on specified forms, such as W-2 and 1099-R.

TIN Compliance

We’ll process your IRS B-Notice files with the ONESOURCE 1099 data, generate the appropriate cover letter and W-9 to send to all recipients for whom there is a discrepancy, update your records, and then lock down this data when confirmed. We can also assist you with the IRS bulk TIN matching service to identify any invalid TINs before filing.

We use web-based software developed specifically for 1099 information reporting. ONESOURCE 1099 software supports all IRS and state reporting requirements and forms. It includes all 1099 series, 1098 series, W-2, 1042-S, 5498 series, and W-9 forms.
